Role Overview We are seeking motivated Wellness Coaches who are certified in an NBHWC Approved Coaching Program (NBHWC board certification preferred), have a background or interest in sports, and live an active lifestyle. Coaches will play a key role in guiding clients through behavior change, building sustainable habits, and developing skills for resilience, health, and overall performance.

Requirements
Responsibilities
Work 1:1 with individual clients or groups, supporting them through the behavior change process and helping them achieve their wellness and performance goals.
Apply motivational interviewing, positive psychology, the Transtheoretical Model (TTM), and other evidence-based coaching methods in client sessions.
Maintain professional coaching standards in line with NBHWC ethics and guidelines.
Collaborate with the SWI team to help shape program design and client experiences.
Track client progress and communicate outcomes to support quality and program development.
Participate in team training, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
Certification from an NBHWC Approved Coaching Program (required).
NBHWC Board Certification (NBC-HWC) preferred, in most instances required.
Background in sports as a former athlete or coach (youth, amateur, collegiate, professional, or equivalent experience preferred).
Active lifestyle and personal commitment to wellness.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable with ambiguity and excited to contribute to a growing startup.
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage your own schedule with clients.
