The Foundation is the trusted partner of the California Community Colleges— facilitating collaboration, accelerating innovation, and increasing systemwide resources. Our work helps to benefit all 2.1 million California Community College students and beyond, with several programs active in regions across the nation.

Incorporated in 1998, the Foundation for California Community Colleges (Foundation) is the official non-profit serving the California Community Colleges’ (CCC) system, Board of Governors, and the statewide Chancellor’s Office.

For over two decades, the Foundation has worked to support innovation and excellence in higher education. The Foundation’s impact reaches more than 2.1 million students across all 115 colleges, with several programs scaling nationally.
Since its founding in 1998, the Foundation has provided over $250 million in direct grants, support, and cost savings to colleges. The Foundation has contributed more than $3 million to the California Community College system.
